Your Self-Talk is Key to Attracting Your Soulmate Your Self-Talk is Key to Attracting Your Soulmate (an excerpt from my ebook: Law of Attraction: Secrets to Attract Love, Joy and Abundance) Every thought you think and every word you say expands your present situation. What this means is that if you believe life sucks, it does because you get exactly what you believe. You can change your words and thoughts right now to attract positive circumstances. Will it happen overnight? That all depends on how long you have been walking around with negative beliefs and how committed you are to retraining your brain so you can access all the love, joy and abundance life has to offer. When I coach people who are longing for their soulmate, the first thing we work on is changing the old dialogue of: “All the good ones are taken” or “I only attract losers.” I teach them to redirect their thoughts and comments with phrases like: “Of course I am going to meet my soulmate! I am lovable and someone is waiting to love me unconditionally!” “There are kind, caring, attractive people looking for a commitment, and I only have to meet one beautiful soul.” “I attract a partner who is physically, financially, spiritually and emotionally healthy and able to commit to me.” Saying these new phrases lightens their energy and makes my clients feel better. This is the positive energy that is going to draw your lover to you. If you don’t look at your life as an endless possibility of opportunities, you will miss them! A wonderful man could be sitting right next to you, but you are so angry about a past relationship, you haven’t even noticed him. You could meet a beautiful woman who is perfect for you, but you are so busy complaining about how hard it is for you to trust someone, that you sabotage the potential for a loving relationship that is being offered to you right this very moment. You can turn your negative self-talk around by being aware of your thoughts and words, stopping yourself from thinking and saying them, and then finding a positive thought or statement to replace it that is aligned with the direction of your dreams and goals. #relationshipgoals #datingadvice #soulmate #selfhelpauthors #ebooklover
This is my new mantra and what I say to myself eve This is my new mantra and what I say to myself every morning when I wake up: Love, Lightness and Joy! It’s a beautiful way to begin the day. What this means for me is: I love my life (no matter what challenges I am experiencing), and I am so grateful to wake up and have a new day to enjoy my family and practice being the best version of myself! Lightness reminds me that when my mood dips, if I’m feeling discouraged, if someone upsets me, or something isn’t going the way I want, I can ask for lightness. All I have to do is say the word “Lightness” over and over and within an hour, my mood will lift and I will feel better. I will have more energy and the heaviness that sometimes permeates my body and mind will evaporate. Such a great, quick tool to uplift yourself: “Lightness!” Joy nudges me to find happiness in every day. We get so caught up in our ambitions and daily struggles that we forget to smile, enjoy the sunshine, listen to birds, chase butterflies, or sit with our family and friends to have a good laugh that creates lasting, loving memories. We have so many opportunities for joy, but because of our fast paced lives, we might literally have to pause and make the time to embrace the beauty of life. I share this with you because this mantra has relieved me of my depression dips. I used to be depressed all the time, and I have spent years developing ways to feel better naturally. In the past few years, the depression seems to come in waves out of nowhere, and I have been committed to overcoming this as well. Saying the mantra has been one of the ways that these mood dips that used to last hours or a whole day dissipate in just under an hour. This is a perfect affirmation when you are feeling This is a perfect affirmation when you are feeling discouraged, depressed, or anxious. You’ve been dumped, cheated on, had a friend ghost you, or a critical boss upsets you…our first reaction is to question ourselves, which is reasonable. It is important to self-reflect because we are a part of every relationship we have, and personal development means you can take a deeper look into your behaviors to see if you have hurt, offended, or angered someone. But after that, many of us sink into a swirl of negative emotions, such as, “I’m not good enough, or why does this always happen to me?” This is the best time to say, “I am divinely guided” ~ which reminds you that life may be showing you a different path. It makes you aware that there is something greater waiting for you and the only way to guide you there is through change. Divinely guided means you acknowledge that the divine is within you as intuition, God, the universe, whatever word you want to use, but you understand that within you is a power and if you allow it to guide you, you develop a knowing and a trust that the events of your life are leading you somewhere. I like to sit quietly or take a meditative walk when I say, “I am divinely guided.” I use the time to open my mind and heart to release my fears and allow myself to visualize a brighter future. Even though I know God is in my heart, I like to look up at the sky and say, “Okay, what is next?” I think the vastness of the sky helps me appreciate how many opportunities are available to me and it reminds me to think BIG. Initially, you may not believe you are being divinely guided, but as you repeatedly recite the affirmation, you will open your heart and mind to receiving new ideas and inspiration that can guide you to living the life of your dreams, even if you are struggling in the moment. We struggle with our disappointments and feel discouraged when we are not sure how to move forward. And this is where positive thinking/self-talk inspires and motivates. I’ll give you some examples: You were passed up for a promotion and feel frustrated. Positive thinking/self-talk could be: · Which of my personal or professional skills do I need to evaluate? Is there a way for me to improve, so I get what I want in the future? · Maybe there is a better job for me elsewhere. I’ll polish my resume and broaden my scope. This could be an exciting new adventure! You are struggling with relationship issues. Positive thinking/self-talk could be: · Am I being loving? We loved each other once, and we could bring that back. I’m going to reflect on how I can create a more loving, happy home environment. · If we can’t find a solution, is there a way to break up gracefully and respectfully, so we can both move on and find happiness? You are longing to meet your soulmate. Positive thinking/self-talk could be: · I believe in love, and I know I will meet someone. I will reflect and realize that there are aspects of me I would like to improve. There are also aspects of me that are wildly wonderful, and I absolutely will attract a wonderful, caring, loving, devoted partner. This is the type of positive self-talk I do for myself and the work I encourage my clients to do. Stay out of the self-pity, victimhood stage, which usually involves thinking about the problem over and over again with the attitude of “Why me? I can’t believe this happened to me.” It’s okay to be upset, but then focus your energy on finding the solution. It’s a practice that requires you to be patient, loving, and kind towards yourself, but it is well worth the time and effort to develop a mindset that solves issues with ease, grace, and outcomes that support living your best life.
