This quarantine leaves us so uncertain that it naturally triggers negative emotions. Even people who are safe at home and don’t have financial woes are worried and stressed. It is so natural to feel this way. I want to reassure you that it is perfectly normal to feel doubt and anxiety. Yet this is also a good time to practice creating a positive mindset for yourself. No matter what is happening, focus on all that is good in your life. Focus on the future you’d like to create. Create gratitude lists. Create a list of goals and dreams you’d like to accomplish, and start figuring out how you can make your dreams a reality. I am purposely using the word create because I believe we are creating our destiny everyday with every thought we think and with every action we take. So take a deep breath and really reflect on what would make you happy and how you can start creating a life that is satisfying and fulfilling. Creating a positive mindset for yourself will help you get through this stronger and better able to cope with all situations that come your way.
